Sanada Nobuyuki (1566 – November 12, 1658) was a prominent samurai from the Sengoku period, the elder son of Sanada Masayuki and the older brother of the legendary Sanada Yukimura. Known for his loyalty and strategic acumen, Nobuyuki played a key role in the Siege of Osaka (1614-1615), where despite his personal connection to his brother Yukimura, he sided with the Tokugawa forces as the family’s loyalty was tested.
After the siege, Nobuyuki earned high regard from Tokugawa Ieyasu, who recognized his honor and military capabilities. In 1622, he became the first lord of the Matsushiro Domain, where he ruled until his death at the age of 92. His life is seen as a transition from the chaotic Sengoku era to the more stable Edo period.

Please note that these exclusive customization options and engraving services are only available for our handcrafted traditional katana. Each katana is meticulously crafted as a one-of-a-kind bespoke creation, tailored to your individual preferences and designed with precision and craftsmanship.
Design Your Perfect Katana
Our finished products also support free customization of colors for customers, including Rayskin color, ITO style, handle color, Sageo, and Seppa colors.
If customers wish to modify the scabbard, Tsuka Style, Tsuba fitting, or the Habaki style, an additional fee will apply.
We offer three types of engraving services, and customers can discuss their design with customer service. Additionally, the blade can also be customized, including changes to the craftsmanship of the Yokote, Bo Hi, and Kissaki.
For text engraving, you can simply write your request in the order notes, and it will be a free service. If you wish to make any other modifications, please be sure to include your requests in the order notes as well.
