Product Background:

Sanada Yukimura (1567–1615), born as Sanada Nobushige, was one of the most legendary samurai of Japan's Sengoku period. He is most famous for his heroic role in the Siege of Osaka, where he was hailed as the 'Hero of the Century' and 'The Last Sengoku Hero.' Yukimura was known for his exceptional combat skills and unwavering loyalty, standing as a symbol of honor and bravery in Japanese history. His valor on the battlefield, especially during the Winter and Summer Campaigns of Osaka, earned him the nickname 'The Crimson Demon of War.' Despite his eventual demise, Yukimura’s indomitable spirit and commitment to his family have left an enduring legacy in Japanese culture.

Sanada Yukimura’s Life and Legacy

Born in Shinano Province (modern-day Nagano), Yukimura was the eldest son of Sanada Masayuki, a feudal lord who frequently shifted alliances during Japan's fragmented Sengoku period. Yukimura first saw battle at the Siege of Ueda and later played a pivotal role in the Battle of Sekigahara. His most famous military campaigns, however, occurred during the Siege of Osaka (1614–1615), where he led the defense of Toyotomi Hideyori against the advancing Tokugawa forces under Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Yukimura’s most iconic strategy was the defense of the Sanada Maru, a defensive position that made brilliant use of the terrain to fend off the far superior Tokugawa army. Despite overwhelming odds, Yukimura and his forces fought valiantly until the very end. His courage and commitment to his cause earned him admiration from both allies and enemies alike, including Shimazu Tadatsune, who called him "The best warrior in Japan."

Product Introduction:

This Sanada Yukimura Samurai Armor is a tribute to this legendary warrior. Every suit is handcrafted by experienced armor smiths using traditional methods and authentic materials, fully replicating the style and design of armor worn by Yukimura during the Sengoku period. The armor is meticulously researched from private collections, museums, and historical records to ensure each detail is historically accurate and artistically precise.

The design is inspired by Sanada Yukimura’s iconic red armor and his deer antlered helmet, which has become a symbol of his courage and warrior spirit. This suit is not just a collectible piece but a functional work of art that honors Yukimura's memory and the indomitable spirit of the samurai. The red color symbolizes courage, loyalty, and the flame of battle.

Key Features of the Armor:

  • Full-Sized and Fully Functional: This armor is crafted to full-scale specifications, with a display size of 71 x 30 x 30 inches, designed for individuals between 5'7" and 6'0" (170-180 cm tall) with an average body type. Blade Engraving Techniques – We Support Various Engraving Methods

Blade Engraving Options & Pricing

We offer three types of engraving available on the blade, each providing a unique visual effect. The engraving options are as follows:

  • Laser engraving: A precise, high-tech method that uses a laser to etch intricate patterns or text onto the blade, offering detailed results at an affordable price.
  • Etching engraving: A traditional process using chemical solutions to create deep, textured designs on the blade’s surface, with a distinct artistic finish. This method is priced higher due to its intricate nature.
  • 3D relief engraving: This technique creates raised, three-dimensional designs on the blade, adding depth and sculptural beauty. It is the most premium option and comes with a higher price tag.

Each engraving method varies in price depending on its complexity. This product is inspired by anime and designed as a katana, but it is not authorized or endorsed by any anime or its copyright holders. We are not affiliated with the copyright owners of any anime.
